Silque was born from the vision of a lingerie enthusiast and former model who identified a void in the market and knew precisely what the industry needed. With years of diligent research, unbridled dedication, and a passion for multi-cultural experiences, she drew inspiration from her Californian roots and extensive travels to Australia, where she spent half her life. Her goal was to create a brand that celebrated diversity and represented various cultures. By exploring the finest mulberry silk worm farms and interacting with small family villages, she immersed herself in sourcing the most exquisite silks from exotic regions worldwide, culminating in the birth of Silque.

At Silque, we strive to create products that embody a perfect union between the cultural and artistic richness of Italy and Asia, driven by our passion for luxury and sustainability.

Our designs incorporate traditional techniques such as appliqué style hand-sewing, while incorporating precious materials sourced from the Silk Road's exotic regions. We use vibrant fabrics sourced locally across villages and timeless craftsmanship to deliver sophisticated and elegant creations that resonate with our customers worldwide.

Our mission

Our mission is to create sustainable products with an environmental-first mindset, emphasising our commitment to using recycled paper for our hang tags, up-cycling newspapers for tissue paper, and creating mailer bags from plant materials that can be home composted into soil. We are proud to use FSC certified packaging, demonstrating our commitment to responsibly managed forests.
